We are two stay at home moms who discovered we had a common interest in chic hand-made baby items. The idea behind Sew Sophisticated started with a nursing cover. We were excited to find a design that was lightweight, allowed us to maintain eye contact with the baby, wouldn't fall off our shoulder, yet we could be discreet while breastfeeding in public. During our weekly runs together we quickly developed more ideas for other accessories for babies & toddlers. We live in Blacksburg, VA where the two of us handmake our items.

We love that we can now clothe our children in reasonably priced, unique products. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we have enjoyed creating them.
